Richard Spencer & Intra-White Animosity
I know a whole lot on the subject of intra-white animosity because I raised by Polish immigrant grandparents in the Southside of Chicago.
Have you ever seen the TV show Shameless? Just switch out Irish for Polish and you essentially have my childhood in a nutshell. My grandparents were also from the Back of the Yards.
I want to touch on Richard Spencer’s lasted post about the Haitian cat thing and his questions on intra-white animosity.

I agree with Richard that the Haitian cat thing is tapping into racism like the Southern Strategy. I also concur, JD Vance —the Shillbilly— would claim that he’s Appalachian, not “white” then blame everything on the WASPs.
Vance is the same guy who worked for AEI, partially funded by the Sackler family, that actively targeted the Scots Irish with drug warfare in Appalachia.
Internalized racism doesn’t just affect visible minorities, but ethno-cultural minorities as well.
Richard questions intra-white conflict and the status of various ethnically European groups.
“The status of Italians or is there intra-white animosity?”
“Or what is the status of Appalachian rednecks or hillbillies?”
“But obviously the dynamic right now is racial, its white or not. Like the hillbillies, the WASP, that’s you’re white on the census form. You’re white in the minds of someone who’s studying critical race theory. You’re white at whatever.”
They can and did pit African Americans vs. Poles and African Americans vs. Italians, but it didn’t have as wide reaching of an effect as reducing it to ‘white vs. black.’ Now, they are trying to loop Hispanic Americans in on their ‘divide and conquer’ plan.
The problem with the census form is “white” includes Western Europeans, Eastern Europeans, Southern Europeans (minus the Spanish), Central Asians, Middle Easterners, and North Africans.
I believe the government is only now trying to separate the MENA (Middle East North Africa) category from the “white” category, but it still leaves in Central Asians.
“Caucasian” includes the Spanish and all of Latin America.
Do you consider all these people as one in-group? I don’t.
I don’t even consider all Europeans as one in-group. If that was the case, then German elites wouldn’t have called for the genocide of that “heretical Polish race” since the 14th Century. Adolf Hitler wouldn’t have tried to ethnically cleanse Poland in 1939. I also don’t blame regular Germans, since it was the Nazis who dressed up in Polish uniforms to attack German citizens during Operation Himmler. I also abhor the fate of the Germans after WWII when the American industrialist who funded Hitler got off with no repercussions.
There were 3 partitions of Poland by Prussia, Russia, and the Habsburgs, then add in the Bolsheviks’ Polish Operation and Katyn Massacre. You’re talking centuries of Polish animosity that runs deep towards Germans and Russians and vice versa.
I was raised by my Polish grandparents to never ever trust the German or Russian governments. I like individual Germans and Russians and even have them in my extended family, but we are not one cultural in-group. I guess Putin’s whore, Jack Posobiec, didn’t get the memo.
Polish Americans in Chicago didn’t consider themselves white. I still don’t consider myself “white” or even fill out racial data; even though, I am extremely proud of my European heritage. I also teach my daughter to love both her European and Mexican American heritage.
The problem today are not the WASP’s or coastal elites per se. It’s the multi-ethnic GOP and their ties to Likud and the Russian-Israeli Mafia.
The GOP includes African American Tim Scott, Indian Nikki Haley, Canadian born and half Cuban Ted Cruz, and all their Russian-Jewish mafia ties. Brandon Herrera, a Hispanic spokesman for the Sons of Confederate Veterans, ran as a Republican for the TX-23 seat.
Um yeah… not very WASPy.
I think it can be argued that Appalachian Americans are their own distinct ethno-cultural group within the United States.
Appalachian Americans - Wikipedia
“While not an official demographic used or recognized by the United States Census Bureau, Appalachian Americans, due to various factors, have developed their own distinct culture within larger social groupings. Included are their own dialect, music, folklore, and even sports teams as in the case of the Appalachian League. Furthermore, many colleges and universities now grant degrees in Appalachian studies, as well as scholarship programs for Appalachian students.[4][5] The term has seen growing usage in recent years, possibly in opposition to the use of hillbilly, which is still often used to describe people of the region.[6]”
Why is it important to get rid of this invented Caucasian and white racial categories?
It hides discrimination and disparities between the various groups of European ancestry. Appalachia doesn’t feel represented by their leaders, and it makes them vulnerable to radicalization by hostile foreign adversaries like Russia.
95% of the land and resources in Appalachia are owned by corporate outsiders, not the Scots Irish. The politicians in Appalachia are also bought and paid for by those same corporations and are extremely corrupt. Appalachia is fertile recruiting ground for extremists just like the inner-city ghettos.
Racism also doesn’t just go one way. I dealt with antipolonism from white kids growing up in Chicago. In the 90’s, the popular Drew Cary Show had the Irish American actress Kathy Kinney play a stereotypical Polish American Mimi Bobeck. Hollywood didn’t want to look racist, so they switched their Black jokes and blackface for Polish ones.

During Covid, my husband had to block a few friends from high school on Facebook because of the racist things they were posting about white people. I’ve had conversations with my daughter’s school because kids were telling her she’s not a “real Mexican” because she’s mixed and the school didn’t do anything about it. Racism is disgusting and it can affect anyone… including WASPs.
Even though, I was raised with bias against Germans and Russians, it doesn’t prevent me from treating people with respect as individuals and creating common cause with the liberal and free-thinking likeminded of various ethno-cultural groups.

One tiny little thing...I recently read "House of Pain" (audio) about the Sacklers. There was a tiny little sentence that I can't forget. It said that one of the Sackler brothers had to go to a board meeting for State Street because he was the majority shareholder. It was a few decades ago too.
Is it possible that the likes of the Sacklers are indeed the majority shareholders of State Street, Vanguard or Blackrock? Just pharma families instead of cartels, etc.?
I'm 1/2 Southern Italian and 1/2 Scots-Irish / English. Never felt 'White', even tho I'm essentially 1/2 WASP. Idk why, it might be that the standard image of what White is in this country is a narrow category that was pushed by popular culture and media. The folks who run media (and pornography) seem to have an obsession with the White stereotype.
