Israelis Pay the Ultimate Price for Netanyahu's Criminality
Israeli journalists blame the HAMAS attack on Benjamin Netanyahu for funding HAMAS, the judicial overhaul, and his close relationship with Vladimir Putin.

The prime minister also said that, “whoever is against a Palestinian state should be for” transferring the funds to Gaza, because maintaining a separation between the PA in the West Bank and Hamas in Gaza helps prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state…
At the time, Netanyahu said, he told then-US vice president Joe Biden his conditions for a Palestinian state: that it be demilitarized, that Jerusalem remain unified and that Israel have full security control, including freedom of action for the IDF and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) to prevent terrorism against Israel. Netanyahu recounted that Biden responded that it wouldn’t really be a Palestinian state, but that he can call it whatever he wants.
Liberman: Netanyahu sent Mossad head, general to Qatar, 'begged' it to pay Hamas | The Times of Israel 22 February 2020
Liberman, the former defense minister, has accused Netanyahu of paying protection money to Hamas in the past (despite the payments having started during his time in office).
The transfers were also opposed by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who has sought to pressure and weaken Hamas in Gaza.
Israel’s government has offered little information about the transfers. Recently tensions along the border with Gaza have escalated due to an increase in rocket attacks and the use of helium balloons carrying explosives and incendiary devices into Israeli territory.

And then he explained his [Netanyahu] doctrine regarding Hamas and Hezbollah. “We have neighbors,” he said, “who are our bitter enemies ... I send them messages all the time ... these days, right now ... I mislead them, destabilize them, mock them, and them hit them over the head.” The suspect then continued his lecture: “It’s impossible to reach an agreement with them ... Everyone knows this, but we control the height of the flames...”
Yet instead of quelling Justice Minister Yariv Levin, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich due to this danger, Netanyahu prioritized ensuring his personal survival and the integrity of his coalition at the price of capitulating to insane, messianic racists. To this end, he turned his domestic rivals into enemies and systematically destroyed the connective tissue that, with great difficulty, held Israel society together…
“Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas,” he told a meeting of his Likud party’s Knesset members in March 2019. “This is part of our strategy – to isolate the Palestinians in Gaza from the Palestinians in the West Bank...”
He has been prime minister for most of the last 16 years, yet what he will be remembered for after he goes is this last devastating year. In a single day, under his reckless leadership, Israel paid a much higher price in blood than it did during the Second Lebanon War, and similar to what it paid during the first Lebanon War in the early 1980s.
Netanyahu Wants to Enlist Putin in Another Election Campaign - Israel Election 2022 - Haaretz.com Jul 26, 2022
It seems Israeli journalists lay the blame of the HAMAS attack squarely at the feet of Benjamin Netanyahu. A lot of innocent Israelis and Palestinians are going to be the ones to pay the ultimate price and not those responsible: the Netanyahu regime, Putin regime, and Iran. The Palestinian people cannot allow Russia and Iran to use them as hybrid warfare non-state actors. Terrorism is psychological warfare, and the actions of HAMAS will never bring about the freedom you yearn for and deserve.
