Kayfabe: Iran vs. Israel
Kayfabe in professional wrestling is the portrayal of staged events as "real" or "true.” I tend to view the Iran and Israel rivalry the same as watching WWE wrestlers on TV.
In 1980, Ronald Reagan (and the Italian-Jewish mob that backed him) made a secret deal with the Iranian government to hold the American hostages (Iran Hostage Crisis) until after the election. Reagan’s treasonous hijinks would turn Jimmy Carter into a one term president and Iran would get weapons and oil deals.
Marc Rich “the King of Oil” made the black-market oil deals from Iran to Israel even before the Iran Hostage Crisis started in 1979. In 1983, Rich and his partner Pincus Green were indicted on income tax evasion, wire fraud, racketeering, and trading with Iran during the oil embargo among a slew of other charges. Rich would later be pardoned by President Bill Clinton who later regretted that decision.
Israel and the United States armed Iran during the Iran–Iraq War. The media tended to focus on the CIA’s ties to drug trafficking during the Iran–Contra affair, but the real issue was Israel arming Iran with American weapons.
In 2016, Iranian immigrant Masud Sarshar hid more than $21 million from the IRS with the help of the Israeli Bank Leumi. He also held both Israeli and Iranian passports. I guess money laundering for your supposed mortal enemy is what normal countries do?
After the Qasem Soleimani assassination, Iran called President Donald Trump to tell him they “have to hit back” and they were going to “hit a certain location," but it will be outside the parameter.
Totally normal stuff, nothing to see here.
Now, the Netanyahu regime is claiming to have arrested seven Israelis for acting as Iranian spies. What I found interesting is that they immigrated from Azerbaijan and the first detainee is from the Ultra-Orthodox community in Beit Shemesh.
Israel has a close relationship with Azerbaijan by arming them against Armenians and the Likud party is backed by the Orthodox community.
The Israeli government is claiming Iran recruited Israelis as spies in retaliation for Ismail Haniyeh’s assassination. The only problem is that Benjamin Netanyahu has a long-documented history of funding Hamas to prevent a two-state solution.
The Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s three sisters also live in Israel as full citizens. So, was Haniyeh’s assassination really asset disposal?
Of course, this doesn’t include Benjamin Netanyahu’s close ties to Vladimir Putin and Russia also funding Hamas and Hezbollah. Iran even sold Russia Iranian drones to use against Ukraine.
This feels a little Wag the Dog to me, and I refuse to allow anymore American sons and daughters to fight in wars Israel and their creatures in the GOP created in the first place.
